HOW DO I BEGIN THE PROCESS?

Unlike the majority of companies who are recovering bank charges, we do not ask our clients to complete and return documentation containing their bank details online. We simply ask that you provide us with your details below and we will provide you with an information pack

Once you contact our offices, an information pack will be forwarded to you containing certain documents. A stamped addressed envelope is enclosed for you to return the documents. Once we receive them we have written express authority to deal directly with the bank on your behalf.


We enter into correspondence with the bank and begin the process of recovering your charges. We keep our clients updated throughout this process at each and every stage.

Our guarantee is that an experienced solicitor will handle your case and ensure it is dealt with as effectively and expeditiously as it deserves to be.

HOW MUCH WILL I PAY FOR GR SOLCITORS FOR RECOVERING MY CHARGES?

We act for all of our clients on a No Win No Fee basis. Put simply this means that if we do not recover money on your behalf, we do not charge you for our services.

We also pay disbursements. This means that if we need to sue the bank in the County Court, we pay the £120 Court fee to do so. In the very unlikely event that we do not succeed with the claim we do not ask the client to repay this money or any costs whatsoever.

If successful which again is usually the case, we recover this fee from the bank when the case is concluded so that our clients will never have to pay this fee either upfront or from the proceeds of their claim.

When charges are recovered from the bank only then will GR Solicitors charge our clients a reasonably agreed fixed amount. This amount will be explained to clients by a solicitor as well as our full terms and conditions upon contacting us by using either of our contact numbers.

Due to the fact that we recover more money for our clients than they actually paid in charges by recovering interest in addition to their bank charges, in certain circumstances, the interest recovered is used to pay GR Solicitors fees in full.

The client then recovers all of his / her charges plus a small amount of interest. This can not be guaranteed however in every case particularly where the majority of charges were applied by the bank in the preceding 12 months. We do however claim interest in each and every case.
